Balance is vital in everything we do – and now it's more important than ever to get that balance right. earthbalance® is our commitment to be more sustainable, less wasteful and to help our customers make responsible decisions about our world. 

Our earthbalance® sustainability programme began in 2008 when we became a privately owned UK business. We have focused heavily on our objective to improve our environmental standing and with each passing year we’ve become more ambitious.

We have projects in place targeting every aspect of our business and the last couple of years have shown real and measurable improvements in our environmental performance.
 

This year we are embarking on a carbon revolution across our entire business… a groundbreaking initiative.
 

 

In support of our earthbalance Sustainability Programme we participated in two awards in 2010, one organised by the Lancashire Business Environments Association and one by the British Coatings federation. These two events provided us with three awards;
 

Environmental Best Practice – won, Lancashire BEA.
 

Carbon Management – highly commended, Lancashire BEA.
 

Sustainable innovation – highly commended, BCF
